Chronic Fatigue (CFS) is a condition where the person experiences persistent or relapsing debilitating fatigue. This fatigue does not get better with bed-rest. The symptoms of CFS include widespread muscle and joint pain, cognitive difficulties, mild fever, sore throat, painful swollen glands in the armpits, neck and groin regions, sleep disturbance and chronic mental and physical exhaustion. CFS is a condition whereby the treatment should always look at the long term health solutions rather than just treating the symptoms. Treatment should include a detox program for the bowel and liver to reduce the toxicity levels, especially if tests reveal Leaky Gut Syndrome. A modified eating program can be used to assist the detoxification and allow the body to recover from the viruses that a person can be exposed to.
